Building Bridges HBCU Fair & Career & Pathways Expo

Thursday, October 15, 2026 | Reggie Lewis Center | Boston, MA

The Building Bridges HBCU Fair & Career & Pathways Expo brings together thousands of high school students, HBCUs, employers, community organizations, and career professionals for a dynamic day focused on college access, career exploration, and future pathways.

With nearly 3,000 students expected, students will have the opportunity to engage directly with HBCU representatives, explore academic programs and scholarship opportunities, connect with organizations and employers, and learn about the many pathways available to them after high school.

The expanded Career & Pathways Expo adds an important new dimension to the experience, connecting students with professionals and organizations across a range of industries and career fields. The goal is to help students see the connection between their education, their interests, and the opportunities available to them beyond high school.

The day will be offered in two sessions to accommodate participating schools and students:

Session I: 8:00 AM–11:00 AM
Session II: 11:30 AM–2:30 PM

Students will have the opportunity to visit the HBCU Fair, participate in career and pathway exploration, engage with representatives, ask questions, and build connections that can help shape their next steps.

The Building Bridges HBCU Fair & Career & Pathways Expo is part of Building Bridges HBCU Week 2026, a week-long celebration focused on expanding access, creating opportunity, and connecting students and families with the institutions, people, and resources that can help them achieve their goals.
