Time:  8:00 AM – 4:00 PM

 

  1. 8:00 AM – 8:30 AM

Registration – Participants pick up welcome bags

Hospitality – Recruiters and Presenters mix and mingle with each other and club members.

  1. 8:45 AM – 9:15 AM

Opening Plenary – Welcome from O2 President, Mayor, College President, Forest Service Representative.

  1. 9:15 AM – Noon

Attendees visit each of the College/University/Company Booths

  1. 12:00 PM – 1:00 PM (Lunch Will Be Provided)
    1. LUNCH; or
    2. Attend LUNCH and LEARN Sessions
      1. Lunch and Learn for Students – Students hear from college students providing their college experience, why they chose a HBCU and an opportunity for Q&A
      2. Lunch and Learn for Parents – Parents hear from parents of HBCU students, alumni and supporters of HBCUs providing insight into what to expect, their college experience/relationships built and an opportunity for Q&A

 

  1. 1:00 PM – 4:00 PM

Attendees visit Presenters explaining the below processes of preparing for college (Rotates every 50 minutes for opportunity to attend all three sessions)

    1. Financial Aid (FSAFA)
    2. How to Find and Apply for Scholarships
    3. How to Write Essays for Scholarships
  2. Adjourn
