Adlena Jacobs has been in education for 13 years. She recieved her bachelors degree science degree in Physics and Math from Stephen F. Austin State University. In 2013 she recieved her Master degree in Higher Education Administration. She has a passion for Career and Technical education that started out teaching at a Middle school in Mesquite, Texas. She started her non profit organization, STEM Innovations. The non profit organization led her to provide students with tools and resources to be explorers of their own learning but as well influence students to become more than what their environment predicts them to become. She takes these same resources and tools and teaches educators about how to prepare students into the workforce. And encourages educators to give students options of non traditional/traditional educational paths.
