Nernwon Kargou is the Business Development Manager with CareerSpring, a free Career Platform for first generation students. Prior to joining CareerSpring, Nernwon led alumni engagement, college completion, and career initiatives at YES Prep Public Schools for over 7,000 alumni. Nernwon’s commitment to expanding economic and educational opportunities to first-generation student and other underrepresented groups guides her career and been recognized by the Houston Chronical. Before YES, Nernwon was a Career Coach with BakerRipley, the largest non-profit in Texas, working to eliminate under employment in Houston. Nernwon has a BSFS in Culture & Politics from Georgetown University.
